Santa's Little Helpers

Ron & I decided to give each other a bed frame for Christmas. Ron put it together early because we didn't have room to store the boxes until the 25th.The bed was from IKEA so Ron had to assemble the whole thing. Somebody else got really into it too!!
He just loves to do man-things with Dad. These plyers pluged up the screw holes very nicely.
We have this really cool chest of drawers built into the headboard. The drawers slide out sideways.
This is what it looks like all assembled.
I had to go to work before it was all done. We have a few glass figurines in our bedroom including a dog I painted for Ron on one of our first dates & the Salt Lake Temple that was on the top of our wedding cake.
While I was gone, Jett decided the dog made a pretty awesome hammer. It knocked of the temple spires very effectively. I'm sure he was very proud of his new trick. How can you be mad at such a curious & innocent boy? The breaks were really clean, so it can easily be superglued back together.

Hey! Which apartments are you in? It looks alot like our old apt. I had a crystal temple that I managed to protect from the girls until one day Kellan smashed it! Who knew he was the greater danger? I'm glad you can fix yours though! Hope your having fun in Price!

Thank goodness for super glue and duct tape. You guys are doing good if you got a bedframe. We didn't get one until we were married 6 years.

I love the bed! I have had my eye on an IKEA bed for a while! Why must we say farewell to anything beautiful and/or fragile when we have little boys?
